Lifelong Floridian. Community organizer. Proud Democratic Socialist. Mom.
As a first generation college student and mother of two girls, I understand first hand the affordability crisis that Floridians are facing. I was raised amid cow pastures and orange groves, but under Republican leadership we’ve seen wealthy developers and insurance shareholders are prioritized over families and farmers.
Florida is such a beautiful place with summer all year, and a wealth of locals, transplants and tourists. Our family lives here are rich with theme parks, community and hard workers.
And yet, with grocery bills still at all time highs and gas prices on the rise, families aren’t able to enjoy time together as they struggle to keep the AC on.
Is Tallahassee doing anything about it? Nope! The people in power are focused on making money for themselves and their friends. They have no plan to address what Floridians actually want and need. This is why we need a change, and part of that change is sending progressive candidates like myself to Tallahassee to represent District 69: Brandon, Lithia, Riverview, Valrico and Wimauma.
I've spent my career fighting for working families - at FDOT, in our schools, in our neighborhoods. With your help, I’ll bring that fight to Tallahassee. The rich and powerful have had their chance to make life better for working people, and now it’s our time. Join me, and let’s take our home back and build a better Florida for everyone.
